The Vigeland Park – Oslo, Norway

The craziest Park in Oslo must see! First of all it is a very popular destination and everyone who is going to Oslo always visiting this park but another good reason is - it is neat really neat. Vigeland park consists of more than 200 sculptures!

Sculptures made by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron. Gustav Vigeland now would be 150 years old. Also making this year will be a great time to explore his life and art in Oslo.

When I visited the park first time 11 years ago it was quite a surprise for me, something like that I didn't expect to see fore sure. Nude sculptures everywhere, it seemed to me like some pervert went crazy and made them all and more crazy seemed people who allowed to make this park. :D Second time wasn't as shocking, actually I was more curious and tried to understand what is all about. Plus it is better to see this park in a day time because at night sculptures seems really creepy.

What do you think? Beautiful, weird, crazy or wonderful? Is it one for the travel list? Would like to know in the comments!
