Routine in Quarantine. Part 1: Morning

For some people quarantine (self isolation) is horror, nightmare but actually it is a great time to start doing useful things and reorganize your life, make yourself better.

In my case, this (quarantine) pushed me to make a few changes in my routine (which never accepted). So here I had to face it and look problems in the eyes.

So here I understood that this helps me to be more organized and productive plus I can develop forwards.

I started my daily exercise and realized that during the day I have way more energy than I used to have before. Training in the morning helps me to burn 20% calories more during the day. (that is my own observation)

I definitely started to plan my time which helps me to stay organized. Sometimes better sometimes not as perfect but I do it and stick as close as possible every time improving.

Routine in Quarantine. Part 1: Morning

Here is my daily morning plan:

  • 22:00 get up, drink glass of water, wash my face, brush teeth
  • 22:20 exercise time / stretching
  • 23:00 shower
  • 23:20 breakfast
  • 23:40 getting ready for work
  • 00:30 work

My tips for you to keep this plan UP

1. Watch your daily schedule.

  • get up
  • weight yourself
  • exercise
  • eat
  • work

Do all this in the correct time and try to keep it that way. Also make sure to watch your daily weight, mood, health, take vitamins and all it takes to keep you in right shape.

2. Get yourself a planner

  • Will help you to organize routine.
  • Write all your little and big things.

Plan your next day every evening before that day!

3. Make your targets

  • Short term.
  • Long term.

For example read certain books, lose weight, finish repair in bedroom, watch good movie.

4. Plan your time after quarantine so you don’t feel confused.

There are maybe very simple and understandable things but this style of planning will help us to stay organized and not to lose ourselves in “time space”.

Why do we need all this?

Because we are different from animals (also from 2 legs animals) with our capability to decide our destiny while an animal is following the given circumstances.

If we will let the situation happen itself then pretty soon quarantine will become a prison where you will feel desperate and tortured. Sure that in such a situation we want to relax, sleep all the time, eat everything and as much as possible, lose our time as much as possible but it is exactly what animals would do! Without any thought!

So In this dumb ass case we have 2 ways:

  • become an animal without thoughts
  • or think a lot and start going totally crazy.
To stay a human don't forget that you are a HUMAN!
