Pantheon, great Temple of all Gods, was built in Rome in the 2nd century BC, then rebuilt in three centuries. In the 8th century AD the pagan temple was re-consecrated to the Christian church and renamed. But the historical name as an architectural monument has been preserved.
When you are inside, you feel the power, grandeur and wisdom of the ancient gods, which are invisibly present inside, despite the fact that for thirteen centuries inside of Pantheon they hear prayers which are aliens to them.
When I stood on the mark in the very center of the temple and looked up, I felt a certain vibration of the air, and as if a small electric current passed through the whole my body.
A stunning place and a great building!
