We have been traveling around Norway for 3 weeks and saw a lot of amazng places but Lofoten Islands I will never forget and I want to come back here once again in future.
Lofoten is known for a distinctive scenery with dramatic mountains and peaks, open sea and sheltered bays, beaches and untouched lands also for fishing.
Lofoten offers many rock climbing and mountaineering opportunities which I personally didn't try here yet. It is quite light here in the summer so It has 24 hours of daylight in the summer time and has Alpine-style ridges, summits and glaciers, but at a height of less than 1,200 meters. The main center for rock climbing is Henningsvær on Austvågøya.
The sea is rich with life and got the world's largest deep water coral reef. Lofoten has a very high density of sea eagles and cormorants also many sea birds.
