China, Temple of Heaven

It is time to share my China, Beijing city adventures. I visited China last in 2017 in the middle of may and I have to say... this is time when there is already really hot weather. I figured out that it is better to visit Beijing little earlier. So my tip for you: visit Beijing in march or april when it is not such a heat and then you also can catch cherry trees blooming.

So I want to start with a Temple of Heaven as it was very first place I did visit in Beijing. A lovely morning spent here in Temple although it was very hot later in a day time.

The place - Temple of Heaven was really heaven! What I like the most was the beautiful blue roofs of temples and that long stone path towards the tower in the pictures. I took some pics so you can see it, and I was also walking there. :) It used to be path only for Emperors of China so it feels special. Temple of Heaven also got large and beautiful park complex. So when you get your ticket you will have an access to the all major buildings and great beautiful gardens with huge amount of amazing roses in them in may.

Spring is great time for visiting this place, in may still can enjoy all the roses and other flowers around the palace. Gardens are truly beautiful and smell of flowers is everywhere, such a beauty! Need about 2h to walk around Temple of Heaven so take your time there end enjoy every corner.

P.S Oh yes! Temple of Heaven surprises you with a strong energy literally it is in the air. In China from the very beginning number 9 have a magical meaning. Number 9 you will meet everywhere in temple, around the temple: 9 pillars, 9 stones around the center sacrifice,9 steps, 9 everything.

Everything is made by amazing geometrical accuracy and beauty. And if you think about it how long ago this Temple was built it really takes your breath away.
