Bellver Castle - one of most beautiful and unique round castles in Spain overlooking the Palma de Mallorca city!
Bellver Castle - gothic Majorcan style, was built at the beginning of 14th century ordered by King Jaime II. It is located about 3 km from the centre of the city of Palma and at some 112 meters above sea level. Easy to get there on 1st buss. Castle has stunning views to Serra de Tramuntana and the port from where its name came from “bell veer”- beautiful view in antique Catalonian. It is the unique castle in Spain with circular floor.
- It is opened all year, every day.
- Tickets cost 4€, reduced to 2€ for pensioners and people between 14 and 18 years old. Free on Sundays, as well as for children under 14 years old.
The Bellever Castle stands on top of the hill which can be seen from most of Palma, therefore you can't really miss it. Castle got good views and several museums to see.
We didnt take guide because don’t really need it, best to go yourself and explore this place without any hurry.Three reasons why you can't miss it!
