Alcatraz Tour

“Break the rules and you go to prison, break the prison rules and you go to Alcatraz.”

"Alcatraz" redirects here. For the former high-security prison on the island which existed from 1934 to 1963.

Today, the island's facilities are managed by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National recreation area it is open to tours. Visitors can reach the island in a little under 15 minutes by ferry ride.

I went on little longer tour then that, this one also included Angel Island,so first went there and then to Alcatraz island.

Anger Island didn't seem like anything too special because there’s nothing much going on. Mostly what you can see is other islands from there, on those other islands living rich people and such thing.

Angel Island has been used for a variety of purposes, including military forts, a US Public Health Service Quarantine Station, and a US Bureau of Immigration inspection and detention facility. The Angel Island immigration station on the northeast corner of the island, where officials detained, inspected, and examined approximately one million immigrants, has been designated a National Historic Landmark.

After Angel Island visit is was Alcatraz Island what I have been waiting for so long! It was great to see all the history and was an interesting read. The audio tour of the cell block was very fun, interesting and well set up. Would have been great to do at night and maybe then would be less flies around lol. I killed so many flies there on ferry and on island wow, little terrorists! BUt overall great tour, different atmosphere fore sure some freaky places and a lot of cool information Must see!!
