Walk up to El Faro in Albir
This place is really popular among local people and also tourists. The lighthouse walk is especially popular at the weekend time. The path goes through the natural park Serra Gelada - also this is a protected zone. Main path is fairly easy to walk and the ferder you go, the more beautiful views you get to see.
Along the road you will find several information boards - they are inEnglish and in Spanish languages. It is about 2.5 km to get to the top and it depends on how fit and how quickly you walk, most make it in around 30-40 minutes... walking back is a little quicker as it's all downhill!
You can Try and spot a dolphins
There is a telescope at the lighthouse area and it is free for visitors to use. It has really beautiful views from here and also this is an area where dolphins are often spotted out at sea.
Albir city itself is a pretty nice place and after a pleasant walk around the lighthouse you can enjoy bars and restaurants which are lined at the Albir beach front.
