Xmas trip to Sierra Nevada

It’s my second time in Sierra Nevada. Road trip started very well also, look at the views along the road. The sky was out of this world, such a beautiful scenery of mountains and clouds ☁️ ⛰.

I went to Sierra Nevada for skiing and Xmas celebration. Stopped in Monachil city. It was perfect choice because here you walk outside and go righ up to the mountains by funicular. 🚠 Weather was pretty nasty for skiing but very beautiful for sceneries and I made a lot of beautiful pictures and videos of those views.

1st day of skiing - 23rd of December was still ok, pretty clear sky. Closer to the evening all went completely foggy. 🌫 😶‍🌫️ But it wasn’t without adventures. My ski outfit was forgotten and that meant that I had to go to another city and buy it. Which turned out even better because I found just the same outfit but XS my size and at home was S which lil big for me, so I gave it back.

Second day was worse because it was foggy, snowing and raining same time. So skiing in such conditions was kinda extreme because visibility sucked.
In addition to all that my ski boots gave me hell because was squeezing my leg in very bad way, I had troubles to walk or ski in those boots. Before I decided to change them I did manage to deal with this hellish pain for few day’s and then I thought that something is definitely not ok. Because I couldn’t ski properly, legs went numb from paint and I also did fall over and stretched one of my legs. Also I saw other people walking fine and way faster than me, so all was suspicious. This what happens when you are a beginner.

Finally on the 3rd day I got different boots and then even bad weather did bother me anymore. Weather went worse actually but I didn’t even fell once that day because comfy boots matter!

Skiing took away all the power but it was super fun and if there would not be rain and fog then I would stay there for whole day and night.

Xmas atmosphere was everywhere - in the city, in the hotel, outside in the air. Visited quite few places, found great burger place and super fun rock bar. View out of my hotel room was most amazing! Pictures will tell more 😻
